Besseges was formed in 1975 by Mr Pat McNair, but his own personal experience of the fire protection industry in general, and automatic sprinkler systems in particular, goes back even beyond then.
Coming from one of the UK’s largest fire protection organisations, he saw that there was a need for a smaller, very-specialist company that while offering the required standards of quality and expertise, would also provide the very highest standards of personal service to its clients.
Today that philosophy still holds true and despite the fact that we number some of Britain’s largest commercial organisations amongst our clients, we have remained a compact family firm, which still includes among its senior staff, experienced specialists who helped launch the company with Mr McNair.
We offer a full service. Fuller in fact than almost any other company in our sector. Because in addition to our vastly experience design team, plus our highly qualified fitters, service and maintenance engineers, we also have our own in-house fabrication unit, which provides enormous benefits in terms of reduced lead times, lower costs and improved quality control.

Consequently, each project undergoes a thorough risk assessment, from which we produce an individually tailored H & S report and method statement to match all aspects of the overall work involved.

Recent Projects
With a lively order book we are constantly designing, fabricating and installing automatic sprinklers and other fire suppressant systems on a national basis. Among more recent projects however, we can list contracts in London Heathrow T5, St. Pancras International, the O2 Dome, plus numerous ASDA store new-build and refits nationwide.
