Senior Fire Protection Design/Project Engineer
Due to continued expansion and growth we are now recruiting for a Design/Project Engineer to join our very busy design office. You will be able to handle the day to day contractual issues on projects from set up to hand over and will be working as part of a team to deliver projects within time and budget to the highest standards.
Experience Required
Have a minimum of 5 years experience within the sprinkler industry in a Design/Project Engineering role Experience proven on contracts - retail, warehousing, offices, water supplies and special risk systems. You must be capable of working to your own initiative and must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining manual and computerised schedules as required You will be working with other disciplines, clients and vendors to produce a successful program. You will be producing and checking CAD drawings for accuracy and build ability. You will be responsible for the production of pre-construction programs, construction programs, commissioning programmes and have an understanding of interfaces with our disciplines and programs.

Trainee Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer
As a market leader in Fire protection we are looking for a Trainee Design Engineer to join our busy design team. Solid and stable as a company, and continuing to invest in the future of the sprinkler industry, this opportunity is ideal for any candidates who have a post graduate mechanical design background working in a commercial or industrial- building services environment.
You will be working alongside our experienced design staff and will be exposed to some of the UK's most prestigious and high profile clients.
As an applicant, you will be able to show the following
Have or be training for ONC or HND qualification in Cad Design. Be conversant with AutoCAD 2007 Software. Be fully conversant with proprietary computer software, Microsoft Office, Word & Excel. Ability to work alongside Senior Managers and Designers within our office. Have excellent communication skills. Be self-motivated and able to react in a multi task environment. Desire to develop and grow in a successful local company. Be able to travel on occasions throughout the UK.
